Jay Mixter, Founder and CEO
Jay is an experienced entrepreneur with a penchant for building new and innovative businesses. His operating experience includes founder and senior management roles at tech startups (Emo Labs, Iconomy, InfoPlus, Spinnaker Software) as well new product and market development positions at Pacific Bell, Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. Over the course of his career, Jay has been involved in the development and launch of nearly 100 new products and services. His experience in high technology spans internet services, ecommerce, consumer software, enterprise software, CRM, and information services.
Prior to co-founding Twyxter, Jay was the founder and managing director of Astrolabe Partners, a consultancy dedicated to assisting entrepreneurial and corporate ventures in the commercialization of new products and technologies. Over the past 10 years, he has also been active as an advisor and mentor to startups through the Kindle Mentor Program at BU, MassChallenge, the Clean Tech Open, Boston World Partnerships and the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition. Jay received his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in Economics at Tufts University
When he is not working on new business ventures, his personal interests include hiking, kayaking, sailing, flyfishing and playing in his band.
Tom Ward, Founder
Tom is a veteran startup leader with operating experience in a variety of new technologies: internet, clean tech, consumer electronics/interactive TV and mobile communications. Before immersing himself in the world of high tech, Tom earned his marketing stripes in positions at Gillette, Superior Brands and retailer Bread & Circus Whole Foods Market. Tom has operating experience building teams, leading technical product design and engineering groups, launching and selling in new products and services, developing distribution channels in new markets, setting up operations and raising capital. Tom is a named inventor on five U.S. and eight foreign patents.
Tom received his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in Economics at Middlebury College. Tom has been an active member of his community as a current member of the Weston Climate Group Leadership Team, the Weston Dads Foundation, and a past Board Member of Land’s Sake Farm. He completed the 2011 Boston Marathon raising over $20,000 for cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and currently volunteers time to the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge.
In addition to his community activities, Tom’s personal interests include running, cycling, hiking, and supporting his children’s athletic and musical passions.
Glen Dudek, Engineering
Glen is an engineering leader with experience building and leading small and large software development teams in both startups and established companies. Glen was most recently SVP of Consumer Electronics Product Development at Rovi where he was responsible for an international development team delivering software shipped in millions of internet-connected television and set-top box devices.
Glen is an engineering leader who has built and led software development teams in both startups and established companies. With expertise in data-driven software solutions, he has played a leading role in the development and operational scale up of both consumer-facing and business applications. Prior to joining Twyxter, Glen was SVP of Product Development at Rovi Corporation with responsibility for an international development team. Rovi’s extensive databases and interactive guide enable consumers to access and enjoy digital content through cable and satellite service providers (130M+ viewers) and devices from leading consumer electronics brands (210M+ units).
Prior to joining Rovi with the acquisition of Gemstar-TV Guide, Glen was responsible for the design and development of the core data delivery system now used by Rovi to deliver TV listings and other data to internet-connected televisions, set-top boxes and other devices. His earlier software engineering and leadership experience includes the development of operating systems, object-oriented databases, videoconferencing networks, and parallel data processing systems. Glen received his BA, Magna cum Laude, from Harvard University and has served on the board of directors of National Datacast, Inc.
Glen's personal interests include sea kayaking, boat building, skiing, golfing, and home brewing.

Amy Lyman
An accomplished speaker, author and consultant, Amy Lyman has spent close to thirty years studying organizations to understand what helps some groups to thrive while others stall and fall apart. She is co-founder and former President of the Great Place to Work Institute, a research and consulting firm known for its selection of the 100 Best Companies to Work For. Amy’s work focuses on trustworthy leadership and the qualities that distinguish Best Companies from good companies. She has authored numerous articles, written a book, and is a featured speaker at management workshops and conferences. Amy earned a B.S. from the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D. from Penn where she was a research fellow at the Wharton Center for Applied Research.
Zoltan A. Csimma
Zoltan is well-known in the CHRO community and is highly respected as an advisor to CEO's and Executives on human resource issues. Most recently, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Genzyme Corporation, Sanofi Biosurgery and Genzyme Oncology and Renal. Prior to joining Genzyme in 2000, he held senior human resources roles at Wyeth Research, Genetics Institute, Convergent, Spectra Physics and General Electric. Zoltan currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Biomedical Science Careers Program and the International Institute of New England. He received his BA from the California State University at San Jose.
Lisa Kelly-Croswell
With more than 22 years of experience in global Human Resources leadership roles, Lisa is a catalyst for employee engagement, innovation and high performance. She is currently Vice President of Human Resources at Boston Medical Center. Prior to joining BMC, Lisa served as SVP Human Resources and Corporate Services at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and also held senior human resource roles at Nitromed, CIGNA, Monsanto and Frito-Lay. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Commonwealth Corporation. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a B.S. in Finance and a M.A. in Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations.
